Aysha Sulaiman is the Director of Human Resources and Development for the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ). Ms Sulaiman guides and manages the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs for RAKEZ. The major areas directed are: recruiting and staffing, organizational and space planning, performance management and improvement systems, organization development, employment and compliance to regulatory concerns, employee orientation, development, and training, policy development and documentation, employee relations, compensations and benefits administration, employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health,  succession planning, and employee retention.

Ms Sulaiman plays a key role in developing and implementing the RAKEZ’s organizational strategies by establishing Human Resources Department accountabilities. She also participates effectively in developing the organization’s strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to the RAKEZ’s strategic thinking and direction; and aligning human resources objectives with organizational objectives.

Ms Sulaiman has more than 12 years of experience in the human resources field in the UAE. She holds a Master’s degree in Global Human Resources Management from University of Liverpool, UK. She is also a certified compensation and benefits manager and a certified strategist.

She has always had a passion for human resources and working with people, and has experience both internally at companies and in the government sector. A devoted mother and wife, she credits the support of her family for her professional success, and looks to branch even further into the strategical and advisor side of HR. She resides in the United Arab Emirates, Ras Al Khaimah city and enjoys travel, scuba diving. She also enjoys reading
books in her spare time, She is excited about the opportunity to learn, grow, and network with others.
