Dr. Usamah Farrukh is a graduate of the University of Southern California with a PhD in electrical engineering/ electro physics. His dissertation dealt with the effect of finite apertures on the propagation of laser Gaussian beams. Today he is retired after about 40 years of professional and university employment. Prof. Farrukh's last appointment was a Chairman of the Computer and communication department at the Rafik Hariri University (RHU) in Lebanon.
