Fiona Broese Van Groenou is a Graphic Designer for her own company called FBVG. She has been in this profession for more than twenty-five years. Fiona received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Art and Design from Gerrit Rietveld Academie in 1993. On an Average day, Fiona spends time painting, selling and making bags and T-Shirts with the designs she makes on them. Her company is international but has a more local presence. Fiona won a newspaper design award several years ago. After graduating, her work was published in the newspaper she works for called NRC Handelsblad . The newspaper featured a photo of her work. While studying, she was active in all kinds of liberation movements and created the posters. This inspired her to get into Graphic Design. In the next three to five years, Fiona would like to take a step back from working at the newspaper and have more exhibitions for her paintings. Her drive, wanting to be good, working hard and liking what you do is her key to success. She really likes working at the newspaper and painting. Making a lot of beautiful newspapers is her greatest professional accomplishment. Fiona would like to take advantage of the benefits that the International Alumni Association has to offer. Fiona enjoys traveling, reading, yoga, tennis and golf.
