Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Catherine has been a child and adolescent psychiatrist for more than ten years. Aside from psychiatry, she teaches and does clinical work and research. Catherine obtained her Ph.D. in Psychiatry from Karolinska Institutet and considers her time spent there to be a valuable part of her life and to have been extremely influential in her career. She was prompted to enter this field because of the negative connotation behind it. Catherine wanted to change that. Today, she loves her job and in the future, plans to be promoted to associate professor at the school where she lectures. Catherine credits her success to her self-motivation and constant desire to learn new things. Outside of work, she loves to travel, make new friends, cook and most importantly volunteer in her community. Catherine hopes to take advantage of all of the benefits that come along with being a member of the International Alumni Association. She looks forward to networking and collaborating with other professionals.
