Gunilla Joenson is Professor at Lund University where she has been Faculty for 20 years. She is primarily a mentor and advisor for students, a scientist and participant in different scientific advisory boards as well as company boards. She has an PhD in Logistics and a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, both from Chalmers University of Technology. Gunilla is the first woman to obtain a mechanical engineering degree form Chalmers University of Technology. Gunilla is affiliated with the Royal Academy of Engineering Science and has been the recipient of many honors: King Carl XVI Gustafs Award, Soderburg Prize, Honorary Alumni Michigan State University, Ekman Medal. She is looking to pass on her knowledge and research to the next generation of emerging scientists and engineers.
