Alan is the Vice President of Client Partnerships with Beacon Health Options where he oversees the project direction teams, clinical outcomes, finances and contractual obligations. His expertise in healthcare providers and management allows him to create and incentivize more creative payment methods. Through Beacon Alan is affiliated with the Coalition of Behavioral Healthcare Agencies and is a current board member of the Case Management Society of America where he has worked with them for the past 8 years. Throughout his career Alan has been published in a research study for his work and efforts in improving Compliance and healthcare management for Behavioral Health. He has also been invited to present and sit on various panels for different conferences and speaking engagements that include the New York Association of Psychiatry Rehabilitation Specialists and the CMSA Annual Conference and Expo. His focus points are generally managed healthcare, health plans and strategic partnerships for quality outcomes. Alan credits his vast knowledge in healthcare and quality control management to his post secondary education. He obtained his Masters in Social Work from the New York University and his Bachelors of Science in Commerce from the University of Virginia. His ability to structurally and fundamentally apply his skill set to improve the quality of life for those that require it most is what drove him to become involved in healthcare management. Alan greatly attributes his success to being fortunate to work with very talented individuals over the longevity of his career that he could also learn from, good mentors and his education for a broader perspective. He aspires to continue to impact and improve healthcare management in his current role while the healthcare field continues to evolve.
