Biography

Demetrios Velis was born in Athens, Greece and qualified in Biology and Medicine in the United States of America. He received his postgraduate medical training in the US and in The Netherlands. Dr. Velis is a board-certified neurologist and clinical neurophysiologist, a member of the American Epilepsy Society, the Dutch Chapter of the ILAE, and of the Dutch Professional Societies of Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology. He is past president and currently member of the clinical neurophysiology section of the international League Against Epilepsy's Diagnostic Methods Commission (ILAE DMC.)
